Barbara Peterson (1942-2012)

Obituary published in Autumn 2012 issue of Wheaton magazine:

Barbara Peterson RN ’63, B.S. ’66 died Feb. 14, 2012. During her 50-year career as a nurse she held many positions, including director of the Beebe Hospital School of Nursing, professor at the University of Delaware and at Bob Jones University, and missionary nurse in Zambia, Africa, and the Dominican Republic. She was an active member of the Delaware Board of Nursing, of which she was past president. At the time of her death Barbara was on the National Council of the Boards of Nursing Examination Committee in Chicago as one of 10 members throughout the United States. Surviving are a brother, a nephew, and many friends.
