Larry Liddle ’66 died Feb. 9, 2013. A family practice physician, he served at Oasis Hospital in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates, for more than 32 years. His love for patients earned him the nickname “Dr. Fowad” (meaning “heart”). Oasis Hospital dedicated the Fowad Outpatient Clinic in 2006 in honor of him and his wife, Marilyn Graham Liddle ’65, RN ’63. Larry and Marilyn retired in Wheaton. He is survived by Marilyn; a son, Greg ’94; and a daughter, Darlene Swartz M.A. ’99.
